All the content

One thing we weren't short of on the old site was content, from our Photo of the Week to a huge collection of modelling guides.

So one key to developing this new site was to retain all this fantastic information. This gave us a big task migrating content, but in doing so it reminded us just how good some of it is.

So have a look around and see for yourself what we have to offer.

New ways to find it

Click on members name or location to find more from them

While you can use our top menu for finding content, you can also discover it by member or location. You can click on Members names or Locations on News, Photos, Railways or Modelling, allowing you to find other articles by that member or at that location/railway.

On our modelling page you can filter by key tags from the articles, allowing you to find all Ffestiniog Rolling Stock articles for example.

Our members are always working on new articles as well, all the latest of which will be shown on our homepage.

Our Events, Open Days & Group Information

Yorkshire Members are also well catered for on the site, with all of our events in one handy calendar, linked to locations with information on access, facilities and a link to the railway information as well.

We've also got group contact information, layout running regulations and our own For Sale section.

True Yorkshire Railways

We're a very active group across a pretty big area. From the Yorkshire Dales to the industrial birth place of many of the locos we model. So you can find out about our members lines, our area sheds or even our own portable layouts on the Railways page.

Key information is displayed at the top of each line. With information on gauge, height, gradient and much more. If your looking to build a railway, this is a highly useful source of information!

So sit back, explore and see where each click leads you. If we’ve done our job right, it’ll be to all the fantastic content our website holds within it!
